It is with much sadness we say good-bye to our brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Dale passed away peacefully in Kamloops after a brief illness and courageous battle with severe pancreatitis. Dale was born in Calgary and raised in Carstairs. He spent the majority of his working life in Kamloops and Trail working for Inland Natural Gas (BC Gas). He retired at an early age to consult and travel before coming full circle back to Carstairs where he will forever rest in peace. Dale is survived by his sisters Linda (Henning) and Suzi (Bill), daughters Debbie (Scott) and Rhonda, grandsons Mitch, Rory (Marina), Kyle (Kayla) and Curtis (Jena), and nieces Keirsten (Paul), Amy and Maggie. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Legion Hall Branch 11, 2141 Columbia Ave. Trail, BC. On October 1, 2016. Service to start at 1130 am, reception to follow. Dale has been cremated and will be distributed to rest with his dearly departed wife Evelyn, hand-crafted pipe tombs made by grandson Kyle and the balance to rest alongside his mother in their Niche in Carstairs. Contributions in memory of Dale can be made to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, 311 Columbia Street, Kamloops, BC V2C 2T1 in recognition for the excellent care they provide 24/7.
