May 28, 1952 - February 7, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Darwin Baerg on February 7th, 2021 at age 68 after a short illness. Born May 28th, 1952 in Chilliwack he was a resident of Trail for many years before moving to Salmon Arm two years ago.
He worked most of his life for Tech Cominco but in the past couple of years he was that friendly cab driver who made sure you got home safe and sound on a rowdy Saturday night.
He was predeceased by his father (Neil), his mother (Hazel), brother (Dennis) and nephew (Travis).Darwin will be greatly missed by his daughters Dawn (Carmen) and Alison, son Adam and grandchildren Weston and Marlon.
He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, sister Dee (Paul) and brother David (Cheryl) and a host of friends who will remember his joking ways...always putting a smile on our faces.
A strong and loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend... he'll always be in our hearts.
No memorial has of yet been planned.
