January 5, 1953 - August 24, 2021
In loving memory ~ David Willard Sims was born January 5th, 1953 in the old Trail Hospital to Clayton & Barbara ( Faulder) Sims. He passed away August 24th at KBRH after a short battle with cancer. Dave was predeceased by brothers Robert and Brian and both parents He is survived by brothers Patrick and Stephen and only sister Carol Merrill.
Dave loved his last years living on the Sims farm at Meadows near Salmo. He was known and loved by his many friends. His welding, fabricating, woodworking and bulldozing was legendary. He will be missed.
It was Dave's wish to be cremated and interred next to his mother and two brothers. No service by request. A gathering of friends and family occurred before his death. A heartfelt thanks to all who came. A special thanks to the hospital staff who cared for him during his last moments.
