It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dennis John Lypchuk at the Kelowna General Hospital. Dennis is survived by his loving daughter Marilyn (Gary) Stuart, son Gary, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, his sister Zenie of Salmon Arm, BC and many extended, loved family members.
He is preceded in death by his devoted, fiesty wife Georgena, his brother Maurice and sister Pearl.
He was employed with Cominco (Teck) & Calgary Power. He retired in 1999.
Dennis was a practical joker, always laughing. He was an avid reader. He carried a spirit of excellence throughout his life with the ability to make broken things new again. He provided a helping hand and a kind heart to anyone in need.
Celebration of his life will be at Gateway Christian Centre on June 25, 2016 at 1:00pm.
