Dennis Mathew Batuik was born on December 14,1947 in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan and passed away peacefully at home in Trail, BC on December 2, 2018.
Dennis received his Heavy-Duty Mechanic ticket in 1988. He was very proud of this. Music and working in his garage were his biggest hobbies. Dennis worked in the mines in the area. He moved up to Tumbler Ridge to work as a Mechanic at Bull Moose Mine. He returned to Trail and worked at Korpack Cement Products until he retired.
He is survived by his wife Sandy Batuik and daughter Samantha Grinblats, son-in-law Omar Grinblats, step-son Carey Anderson, grandsons, Dennis Grinblats, Ryan and Cody Anderson, granddaughter Abby Grinblats, sister Jan Poluck, brother Allen Batuik and several nieces and nephews. Dennis was predeceased by his mother Lena Batuik, his father Mathew Batuik, brothers; Henry and Joe Batuik and sister Isabel Cutillo.
A service to celebrate the life of Dennis will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 11 am at the 7th day Adventist Church at 1471 Columbia Ave, Trail, BC. Brent Long of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.

Dennis will be sadly missed, yet he will live in our hearts and memories forever.
