With saddened hearts we announce the passing of our dad on June 20, 2016 in Airdrie, AB.
Don was born in Ponoka AB.
Shorthly after moved to their homestead in Flatbush, AB. He later moved with his father John, brother Allan and grandmother Alice to Aldergrove B.C.. He lived their till he joined the services.
After the navy he worked at various jobs on the coast until moving his wife and family to Trail, B.C.. It was in Trail where he began his life of volunteering, working as a auxiliary RCMP officier, as well as becoming wholly involved in the Navy Cadets and Air Cadets.
He is survived by 3 daughters Sherri Decembrini (Art Bergmann), Bonita Watt, Renee John (Clinton), As well 3 grandchildren Naomi Decembrini, Joshua John, Meagan Doerksen (Scott), and 1 great grand daughter Zoe DaSilva. Also his brother Allan (Diane) and nieces and nephews.
