It with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Donna Johansson on

Donna was born on April 4th, 1944 in New Denver. Most of her early years were spent in Trail, where she graduated from J. Lloyd Crowe Secondary School. She then studied at the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Victoria were she graduated in 1966.

Donna married Dick in May 1966 and moved to Kamloops in the summer of 1967. Their daughter Kelly was born in 1968 and their son Brad was born in 1970. Donna is survived by Dick, Kelly and her children Joshua and Nicole, Brad (Cathrine) and their children Theodor, Victoria and Felix, her mother Thelma, her sister Barb (Bryan), her brother David (Karen) and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a unique and special person that touched the lives of many, and she cherished the wonderful people that shared her life. She was warm, caring and generous as a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a friend.

Donna loved to explore and enjoy the world around her, travelling and camping all of her life. She was an avid reader, an enthusiastic golfer, a keen bridge player and an expert at making sneaky treasure hunts for her grandchildren. Everything she did, she did with a smile.

Donna lived a wonderful life, and will be greatly missed.
