It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce that Donna Eileen Nonis passed away on March 14, 2018 at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, BC. She was born in Kentville, Nova Scotia on August 3, 1940.
Donna was predeceased by her parents Roland and Ethel Pike, sister Joan Sarka and bother-in-law Louis. She is survived by her husband Tullio, her daughters; Deana, Dara (Darren) Davidson and Danya, grandson Joseph, granddaughter Gianna, brother Blair (Joan) Pike as well as many other family members and friends.
Donna would want to thank all her wonderful friends and family for all the kindness and support (cards, food, flowers, visits, phone calls...) that she received over the past few months. Donna's greatest love was spending time and chatting with family and friends.
The family would like to thank all the Doctors and Nurses for the stellar care that Donna was given.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 11:00 at Trail United Church at 1300 Pine Avenue with Reverend Greg Powell officiating. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
