With sadness we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and friend. Doris is survived by her two sons, Philip and Eric (Janet), and their two sons Henry and George, the loves of her life. Some relatives remain in Germany, notably sister Margrit (Eberhard), and brother Friedrich (Nan) in Ontario. Doris was very artistic, always decorating her home attractively, loved nature and nature photography, and was a renowned gardener with her family and friends.
Doris was a role model for generosity, kindness and hard work in the face of all of life's ups and downs. She adored her grandchildren, and they are very sad to say goodbye to their beloved Oma.
