On June 2, 2019, Dorothy Rose (Kellogg) Goldsmith, born in Nelson, BC on May 15, 1931, was called home to God while working in her garden.
She now reunites with husband John, daughter Debbie and just fifty-one days after the passing of her sister Pat.
Her passion was gardening and reminiscing about the days of growing up between three places that she called home - Nelson (the House), Ymir and Trail.
She leaves behind her two children; Patrick (Fely) and Jayme (Norm), stepson Ken (Ann) her grandchildren; Josh, Sara (Peter) and Ashley, great-grandchildren; Shana, Liam and Caleb, brothers; Ted (Amy) and Clifford (Margaret) and many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks for the kindness and compassion of all our first responders.
At her request, a service will not be held. A family gathering will take place at a later date. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
