Dr. Peter William Hudson, born in Nelson, BC March 13th, 1917, and raised in Bull River and Trail, BC passed away peacefully in Richmond Hospital surrounded by his family on August 11th, 2011 at age 94. He is again at the side his beloved wife of 67 years Helen, who predeceased him in May of 2010. He is survived by his loving sister Joan Hudson age 96 of Lindell Beach BC, and his daughters Linda Hudson, Jane (Aaron) Keyes, Mary (Charlie) Nash, and son John (Debbie) Hudson. His seven grandchildren include Kim & Jeff Bazso, Steven & Graham Coates; Julia Nash, and David & Sarah Hudson. Peter has six great-children: Chad, Matthew & Sydney Coates, and Daniel, Alexandra, & Gavin Hudson. Dr. Hudson served as a doctor in England during the second world war, then came back home to Trail, BC where he served as a family physician and where his four children were born. In 1952 the family moved to Vancouver where Dr. Hudson became an anesthesiologist at VGH, and where the children thrived in their Dunbar home with laughter, friendship, imagination and talents all developed fully in a life rich with happy memories.
