Jul 29, 1941 - Nov 5, 2017
Reb Simmons was born on July 29, 1941 to Ray and Hope Simmons, his journey came to an end on November 5, 2017 with his family by his side.

Reb is predeceased by his parents Ray and Hope and by his grandson John.

He is survived by his loving wife Lindsey and his children Tammy, Terry, Rhea, Angela (Jay) and Cody, his 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren as well as his nieces, nephews and friends.

His passing will leave a deep hole in many hearts. He worked hard, played harder and loved to charm the ladies. He loved the land, to play his guitar and sing. He thoroughly enjoyed his hunting and fishing trips. He played ball in his younger years, enjoyed good food, smoking doobies with the boys and of course riding his Harley and doing road trips.

He had a passion for volunteering and spent many hours with the West Kootenay Toy Run, Eagles Organization and Eagle Riders. He was a proud Union man representing Operating Engineers Local 115 and will be missed by all who knew him.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, November 12 at Mountainview Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 2056 Columbia Ave, Rossland, BC.

Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
