The family of Eileen Mary Mailey sadly announces her passing on October 8, 2019 in Trail, BC. She was born on October 11, 1934 in Trail, BC.
Eileen is survived by her husband Leo, her children; Mike (Joy), Rick (Terry), Gordon (Janice), Donna (Dale) and Sharon
(Dave), grandchildren; Doug, Jolene, Natasha, Ryan, Laci, Scott, Cindy, Erin, Dean, Dakota, Naomi, Skye, and Ridley, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Tony and Mary Frie, her siblings Pat Frie and Maureen Cyr, and her beloved son Ron.
In her earlier years, Eileen worked for St. Michael's School and the BC Cancer Agency. She also volunteered for the KBRH Auxiliary, the CWL Auxiliary and the Trail Food Bank. Mom also enjoyed bowling, golfing, skiing, traveling and spent many years vacationing at Christina Lake.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish with Father Francis dela Cruz, Celebrant. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
The family would like to thank the staff at Columbia View Lodge for the wonderful care given to mom.
