November 23, 1924 - April 17, 2020
It is with great sadness that a long time resident Elizabeth Jane Myers of Trail B.C. passed away on April 17, 2020 at the age of 95.
Beth came to Canada from Scotland at a young age with her parents, brother and sister. She is predeceased by her husband Marrion, Brother Sandy Williamson, Toronto Ontario, and Sister Eleanor Wallace Trail B.C.. Two great grandsons Cody and Trevor Myers, Salmo B.C. She is survived by her brother James Williamson of Prince George B.C., sister Elsie Fucco of Revelstoke B.C. Sons Allan (Fran), Donald (Bonnie), Gayle (Sandra), Daughter Patti (Ray Bernard).
Beth had 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Beth worked at the Cominco Cafeteria for several years before meeting and marrying Marrion. They both worked very hard to build a home in Warfield. She had a talent for beautiful flower gardens and was always there to give a helping hand.
She loved having the grandchildren visit for the summer and ensuring they took swimming lessons. The neighbourhood kids also called her gramma. She was an active member of the Trail Legion and enjoyed playing Bingo.
As Beth and Marion's favorite charities were the Salvation Army and Cancer Society donations to those charities would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
