Enrico (Rico) Redivo passed away in his home on May 17, 2019 at the age of 96. Born on August 16, 1922, Rico grew up in Roveredo, Italy. He married Elena Maluta in the 1940's and together they immigrated to Trail, BC in 1949. Here Rico found employment with the City of Trail where he worked for over 30 years.
His retirement years were filled with many adventures - camping, fishing, hunting, travelling, gardening and wine making. He appreciated his life, and in his later years would always say, "I've had a very good life!" Even after he developed an age-related disability, he remained grateful and handled his poor mobility and pain with humour and dignity.
Rico was predeceased by his wife, Elena, and his nephews, Livio and Danny. He is survived by his brother-in-law Eugenio (Anni) Maluta and many nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 10:30 am with Father Francis dela Cruz, Celebrant. Entombment will take place at the Trail Mausoleum. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services is entrusted with arrangements.
