The passing of Enzo Carlo Driutti, age 72, occurred peacefully at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital on April 21, 2017, after a 30 year battle with heart disease and most recently renal failure. Enzo was a devoted husband for 43 years to Antonia (Toni), a loving and

supportive father to David (Jennifer) and Julia (Jeff) Mason. He was a proud Nonno to his

cherished grandchildren Gino, Gemma, Tristo,

and Lorenzo.

Enzo is survived by his brother Eugenio

(Caterina) in Rome, Italy, his in-laws Rosetta, Joe Bossio, Giuseppe, Ruth, Giacomo and Linda Guercio. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces of which he spoke of often and held dear to his heart.

Enzo was born in Tarcento, Udine Italy on February 17, 1945 and immigrated to Canada

in 1966. He worked for Cominco (Teck) as a

welder until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening and creating several rod iron art work which are present in his award winning flower garden.

A private service was held on April 27, 2017. Cremation has taken place with inurnment at Mountain View Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to support the science program at St. Michael’s Catholic School, 1329 4 Avenue, Trail, V1R 1S3.
