Stewart: Frank of Trail, BC passed away on June 5, 2011 in the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Frank was predeceased by his father John, mother Annie, grandchild Deborah Poole, and great-grandchild Ryan Jones. His is survived by his loving wife Rose, son Bob (Vi), daughter Jean (Bill) Poole, grandchildren Darryl (Lisa) Poole, Derrick Poole, Christine (Mike) Bartsoff, Chad (Sarah) Stewart, great-grandchildren; Jesse and Kyle Bartsoff, Kody and Morgan Stewart, Tyler and Darian Poole, Samantha and Dylan Poole, Chris Poole, and great, great-grandchild Amaya Needham.

Frank was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on July 2, 1920. He proudly served in the Army and was a Grain Buyer in Alberta. He moved to Trail in 1946 when he went to work at Cominco and he retired in 1982.

He enjoyed and spent many hours with his family and friends. Frank enjoyed spending winters in Arizona and the other seasons at Christina Lake with his wife. Frank enjoyed coaching as well as playing and watching baseball. He also enjoyed curling, golfing and hockey. He was an avid Canuck and Blue Jay fan.

As per Frank’s wishes, there will be no funeral and cremation will take place. Bill Clark with Personal Alternative Funeral Services “Carberry’s Chapel” has been entrusted with arrangements.

The family would like to thank all of the staff of the 3rd floor and the Emergency Room at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. Special thanks to the Paramedics and Doctors.
