Gary was born in Calgary, Alta & was 69 years old. Gary never married or had any children.
He is survived by his sister Marilyn Diane Stuart (nee Banman) & brother in law Gary Robert Stuart, nephews & cousins.
Gary was a devoted brother an avid fisherman and an animal lover who was a supporter of animal rights. He was protective, loyal, and compassionate with a kind & generous heart.
He was a very hard-working individual that would lend a helping hand to loved ones and strangers alike. He was in the Military, a truck driver, Oil Riggs, and Fisherman in the Atlantic Ocean in Eastern Canada.
Many interests included frequently trekking, seafaring or just plain enjoying the ride on his motorcycle until his health declined recently which was met with his typical courage.
The family would like to thank the staff @ Kelowna General Hospital for their incredible care during his brief stay & especially the care & kindness of Vascular Surgeon Dr. Mostowy.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks those who are able instead to make a donation to the S.P.C.A.
