Geoffrey John Lawrason passed away suddenly in his home in Trail, BC on Saturday, August 21, 2021.
Born in New Westminster, BC on June 14, 1956, Geoff enjoyed living in some of BC's most beautiful places and fishing many of its scenic lakes and rivers. Geoff was known for his excellent work as a mechanic and his love of shooting pool and fishing. A long-time science fiction fan, Geoff was always up for a debate about the pyramids, the Mayans, Area 51, Bigfoot or any other topic you cared to discuss. In recent years, you'd see Geoff racing around on his shiny red scooter, always ready with a smile and a wave.
Geoff leaves his sons (Amos Lawrason and Scott Lawrason) as well as many loving friends and family. He is predeceased by his father (George), his mother (Dorothy) and his brother (Brett).
Geoff's family would like to share their deepest gratitude for the years of love and support Rick Sander and Theresa Denes showed Geoff; you were truly family to him.
A Memorial for Geoff will be held at Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services at 1298 Pine Avenue in Trail on Wednesday, September 1 at noon.
