We celebrate the life of Gerry. We also grieve our deep, personal loss. He will be loving remembered by Colleen (Kelly), his wife of 44 years, daughter Corinn (Jason), sons Brennan and Tim (Kirsten). “Poppy” adored his four young grandchildren – Oliver, Meaghan, Norah, and Georgia.

Gerry was born in Rossland, on August 9, 1943. He was the 6th of 9 children, born to Paddy and Teena Bell. He leaves eight siblings to mourn his passing; Patrick (Dolores), Maureen Holmes, Bernadette Jordan, Colleen Linley (Michael), Christina Grain (Ed), Michael (Darlene), Dan (Joanne), and Kevin (Nicola), numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends and colleagues.

Gerry graduated from Notre Dame University (Nelson) in 1966. In 1977 he started a consulting company in Kamloops. His brother, Dan, joined him and together they formed Western Industrial Relations.

Gerry had a dynamic presence, a quick wit and a vibrant zest for life. Sports were a great interest; he especially enjoyed golf, hockey, and basketball.

He will be remembered as a kind, generous, and hard-working man with a deep love of family. He was a leader, and was highly respected for his integrity.
