Jecks, Gordon A. of Rossland passed away at Rosewood Village in Trail on Saturday, Nov 16, 2019 at the age of 87 years.
Born March 08, 1932 in Cranbrook B.C., Gordon moved with his family to Rossland B.C. in November of 1935. Educated in Rossland, Gordon apprenticed with the Miner Printing Co. in December 1952 and then worked for the Hall Printing Co. in Trail from July 1969 to September 1980. He then was employed by School District No. 11 at Central School in Trail as a custodian from December 1980 until his retirement in June 1993.
Gordon will be missed by his sister Gladys, his nephew Bob, his niece Sandra (Ralph) and a great-niece Michaela. Gordon had a generous heart, never saying no to anyone and had a great sense of humour.
A Graveside Service will be held at Mountainview Cemetery on Wednesday, August 5th at 10 am with Rev. Douglas Lewis officiating. All are welcome to attend. Due to the pandemic, social distancing will be adhered to and there will not be a reception.
