The words kind, loving and compassionate do not begin to describe Grace McCulloch.
Grace was born and raised in Trail and spent summers with her family at their lake house in Harrop. Throughout her life she was an easy going, care-free friend to everyone. To those who knew her, Grace was an instigator of fun and a memory-maker.
She was always present and eager to give her undivided attention to those who needed it.
Nothing made her more proud than her family, friends and Scottish heritage. She loved those around her fiercely and made sure they knew how much they mattered and were valued. She brought laughter in times of sorrow, comfort in times of fear and perspective in times of growth.
Surrounding herself with those who brought her joy in return made her life memorable. Truly an "Amazing Grace."
Anything to do with the outdoors called to her adventurous soul including fishing, hunting, horseback riding and camping. Her beautiful farm in Proctor was a true source of pride for her and her husband, where all were made welcome.
An admirable passion of Grace's was to provide a safe, loving home to her rescue dogs and horses. Travelling to places such as Spokane, Prince Rupert and as far away as Glasgow brought her great joy and many fond memories with her loved ones. She truly enjoyed a life well-lived.
Grace was a devoted daughter, sister, auntie, wife, stepmother, nana, great-aunt and life-long friend. She passed away September 9, 2020 at the age of 60 and will be forever missed and remembered.
Twas grace hath brought us safe thus far, And grace will lead us home.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
