“Heather has stepped aside now and God has taken over”
Heather Kragh passed away on September 25, 2019 from complications of diabetes, kidney failure and leukemia at the age of 74. Living three of those years on kidney dialysis every other day, Heather had a long and difficult struggle. The family would like to give special thanks for the loving care the nurses and doctors in the Trail hospital renal ward gave every day. From singing with her to keep her spirits high, to being there at the end. God bless all that you do, you are Angels of Mercy.
Heather was born in Barnard Castle, England to Doris and Victor Macbeth (predeceased). They moved to Canada and took up residence in Trail. Later Heather resided in Fruitvale where she began to raise her son Shaun. Heather met and fell in love with George Kragh. They married and began their lives together. Way too soon, George passed away and he was taken from her. Heather had to spend the next stage of her life alone, with the exception of her two blended families to keep
She is survived by her son Shaun Cruickshank and his wife Carol, blended family Doug Kragh and his wife Sheryl, Marvin Kragh, Deanna Stock, Rick Leduc and her beloved grandchildren Neal Kragh and Ian Kragh. We all have fond and special memories of her.
