Lewin: Hilda; passed away peacefully in Trail on October 2, 2013. Hilda was born in England on January 15, 1921 and came to Southampton, New York in 1957 and a day later to Canada Immigrations in Fort Erie.
Hilda enjoyed knitting, sewing and gardening. Her passions were spending time with her family and watching tennis on the television.
She is predeceased by her husband Thomas. Survived by her son Richard (Pamela), her grandchildren; Taya (Darby), Lance (Kathryn), Erika (John) and Kyle (Dianna) , great grandchildren; Steele, Taryn, Kyle, Conner, Aidan, Rylee, Ainsley, Addison and Titan and numerous nieces and nephews residing in the U.K.
A private family service will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in Hilda’s name to a local charity of your choice.
