Was born in Trail on August 6, 1937 and passed away suddenly on March 18th, 2018.
He is predeceased by his wife Shirley and survived by his daughter Kerry (Mark) Young and his grandchildren Cameron and Stacia. He will also be missed by his many friends and extended family.
Jim drove truck all of his working life. He enjoyed curling in Beaver Valley immensely. The outdoors were his favourite place to be and you could often find him puttering away or entertaining his buddies in his backyard. Jim idolized his grandchildren and made every effort to see their hockey games and dance recitals. His family was his life.
A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held on Wednesday, April 18th at 11:00 am at the Montrose Community Hall. Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
