It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Jean Hopkins (nee Friel) at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital on July 6, 2021 at the age of 84.
She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years Matt Hopkins in 2020 and siblings Mamie, Ella, Cathy and John. She is survived by her daughter Jacqueline (Michael), sons Matt (Tammy) and John, her grandchildren; Dennis, Matthew (Brianna), Shannon (Adam), Stephen and Michael, great-grandchildren; Marak, Luke, Jack and Benjamin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in Canada, Scotland and the US and sisters-in law Josie Hopkins of Trail and Margaret McCarthy of Fruitvale.
There will be no service by request. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation ServicesTM has been entrusted with arrangements.
