Menelaws, Jean, born January 20, 1932 in Trail, BC passed away September 20, 2010 after a lengthy illness surrounded by her family at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital.
Joan was a devoted Mom and Nana. She was content to watch her children and grandchildren as they lit up her life. Nana loved to bake and we will miss her delicious treats. The family remembers her quite giggle as she cuddled the dogs and cats and laughed at the antics of her grandchildren.
Joan is survived by her husband George, son Gordon (Dianne); grandchildren Tyler, Erin, Joel and Megan; and her daughter Maureen (Randy) Roy.
A family service will be held at a later date. Bill Clark of Personal Alternative Funeral Services “Carberry’s Chapel” is in care of the arrangements.
