MARBACH, Jessie (nee Aitken), passed away peacefully on November 25, 2010, after a short illness. Jessie was born in Trail, BC on June 30, 1928 and spent her entire life here; she was 82. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Alec, brother Jim, and sister Janet. Left behind to mourn her loss are her children: Ron of Surrey, BC , Kathy (David) Ramsay of Langley, BC, Larry (Sandy) of Trail, BC, and Brenda Alfonso of Orangevale, CA; siblings: George (Val) Aitken and Jane (Jim) Nelson of Trail, BC; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as her beloved dog, Buddy. Cremation has taken place, though, as per Jessie’s wishes, there will be no service. A family gathering will be arranged at a later date.
