Was born on August 12, 1948, in Marianske Lazne in Czechoslovakia and passed away
on June 26, 2021.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Jana, his children Robert (Chelan) and Janet (Timothy) and his grandchildren Rachel, Josh and Hailey.
Jiri came to Canada in 1968 with his family. Upon retirement he moved from Calgary, AB to Fruitvale, BC to enjoy his passion for biking, swimming, hiking and he truly enjoyed it to its fullest.
The family would like to thank The South Columbia Search and Rescue teams, Champion Lakes staff, RCMP Dive Team, all volunteers, and everyone who has shown love & support.
