Mom's 35 year career was with Penticton Regional Hospital in the administrative roles starting at the switchboard and then as an executive assistant to PRH leadership.
Family was everything to Mom and summer vacations in Penticton included the Rules of Grandma on the back door- "it's Grandmas' holiday too!"
She loved family dinners; Friday nights with the Gang; travelling with Lorne, friends and family; adventures of camping; reading;volunteering with the Junior Hospital Auxiliary; exercise and golf. Her bridge group played together for over 60 years.
Joan was privileged to be reunited with her brothers and their families in her later years. She embraced this relationship with much joy.
We were blessed to know Mom's love for 90 years - Debbie, Mike and their families are grateful to have had Mom in Trail the past seven months to have her closer, and allow more visits during this challenging time.
We would like to thank the staff and professionals at The Hamlets and Haven Hill in Penticton and Columbia View Lodge in Trail for Mom's compassionate care.
No gathering at this time due to covid restrictions.
