Was born on February 10, 1940 in Rossland, BC and passed away at home with her family by her side on February 11, 2019.
Joanne is predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Tony, her children Michael (Sue) and Bev (Tim), her grandchildren; Eric, Rachel, Megan, Olivia, Adam, Nadia and Matthew and her sister Moreen.
Joanne was very proud to have graduated from the Selkirk College Nursing Program in 1981. She specialized in maternity and helped to deliver her 6th grandchild! She took great pleasure in every aspect of her grandchildren's lives.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 19th at 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Trail, BC with Father Francis dela Cruz officiating. Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
