John ("Jack") Ford

May 11, 1932 - October 18, 2022
Jack passed away peacefully at the age of 90 years. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Georgina Duff, his 3 children Glenn Ford, Leslie (Greg) Comis, Stewart (Sheri) Ford, beloved grandchildren Annika and Mitchell Ford, as well as special lifelong friend Fran Pargeter.
Jack was born in Trail, and enjoyed growing up on the farm in Fruitvale with parents Jack and Carrie Ford. He had fond memories of farm life- working hard with his Dad on the land and with the animals.
Jack pursued his 2 major passions- aircraft and nature. He joined the air force right out of high school, taking him on many adventures around the world. He loved every minute of the 20 years he served in the RCAF. He also spent many hours hiking, camping, fishing, boating, and photographing all that nature and wildlife offers. Jack loved the Kootenays. He spent his later years walking, curling, cross- country skiing and enjoying family with Georgina in Montrose.
