Herrick, Juan Luella (June) (nee Johnson) passed away peacefully at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail on November 7, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with lupus. She was born on June 24, 1925 in Ardath, Saskatchewan. Juan is survived by her loving husband Bill of 54 years, children, Dr. Troy Alexander (Diane) and Renee Alison, three sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Juan received her R.N. from St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon. She worked for several years at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital as an O.R. nurse. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed gardening and sewing. Juan travelled extensively with her daughter throughout Europe and the U.K.
A private service will be held. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with the arrangements.
