Julie Anne Doherty passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital at the age of 51 after a battle with cancer.
She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her husband of 34 years Bernie Doherty, her three children Michelle (James) Gibson, Ryan (Janice) Doherty, Kyle (Amber) Doherty and her loving grandchildren Braeden Adie, Nathen Doherty, Chevelle Ross Doherty, her parents Verna and Jack Finlay, mother-in-law Frances Doherty, as well as her sisters Gloria (Ian) DeWitt, Bonnie (Gordon) Tjader and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Trail Alliance Church in Glenmerry on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 11:00 am with Reverend Ken Siemens, Celebrant. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
