Ken Currah (Captain Crunch) long-time Warfield resident passed away May 31, 2018. Ken was born May 27, 1947 in Trail, BC.

He worked over 40 years for Teck-Cominco and retired from Protective Services and as an Ambulance Attendant. Ken loved outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, camping, boating, skiing, gardening and enjoyed his hockey games. Ken also had many other interests. Crunchie was a very happy and social guy and loved visiting with his many friends at his various "offices." He was generous and giving of his time to lend a helping hand where needed.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lores (Bressanutti), sister Diane Currah, aunt Dolores Krepps, mother-in-law Anita Bressanutti and extended family. Ken was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Gertrude Currah, his sister Joan Currrah and father-in-law Guiseppe (Bepo) Bressanutti, uncle Jack Krepps, uncle and aunt Bud and Myrtle Cooper.

By request there will be no service. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
