HILL, Kenneth Glenn of Trail passed away at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital on February 14, 2013 surrounded by his family. Ken was born on November 10, 1931 in Corning, Saskatchewan.

Ken started his working career in the Cominco mail room at 16. He then went to Christina lake to work road construction on the Paulson to Castlegar road then the Rodgers pass. He moved to Trail and worked as a mechanic for a few years. Going back to construction; working on the Dams at Castlegar, Mica, Kootenay Canal, Seven Mile and Revelstoke then he retired. His hobbies included gardening and making lawn ornaments, wind chimes and spending time at Christina Lake with Lil and Shorty. As a young man, he was an avid hunter.

Ken is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lilian, his son Greg (Kathy) Hill, his daughters Sandra (Lorne) Fillmore, Vicki (Mike) Bann, Stephanie Hill. Grandchildren; Lisa (Chris),Krista, Darrin (Chelsea), Sarah (Mike), Cheryl (Craig), Sean, Kristin,& Kayla, as well as 8 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Glenn Hill, parents-in-law Eva and Harry Palm, his sister Kathleen, his brother Ron and daughters Christina Hill and Debbie Hill.

A family gathering was held on Saturday, February 16 at the Royal Canadian Legion and a Celebration of Life will be held at Christina Lake at a later date.
