Kenneth Wayne Hill, 64, of Trail, British Columbia, peacefully succumbed to health issues on July 17, 2012, at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was born January 27, 1948, in Prince George, British Columbia, and the son of late Vic and Shirley Hill. He worked loyally at Teck Cominco for over 40 years.

Aside from his many attributes he had a passion for aviation, and all things mechanical. If it had wheels or gears he could fix, build, improve on or “hop up” including an airplane that he built with his boy in the early 80’s. Kenneth belonged to the Trail Flying Club as flying was his passion.

Kenneth Wayne Hill is survived by the his siblings Terry (Rita), Sandra Durling (Tony), Rod (Son) and his wife Christie Hill, step-son Davin MacKay, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is greatly missed by family and friends some who never had the chance to say goodbye and honor him for the man he was. There will be a private family service to follow. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Trail Flying Club or to a charity of your choice.
