Kevin Roy Pearson passed away in his sleep on July 28, 2017 in Surrey BC. Kevin was born in Nelson BC on February 21, 1964. Kevin spent most of his younger years in Salmo BC with his Dad Richard and step mom Millie along with his 2 brothers and sister. He also spent time in the Okanagan with his Mom Joan. He was a father, husband, brother, uncle, grandpa, cousin and friend to many. He will be fondly missed by his wife Donna, his children Kate, Kole, Lindsay and Candace. Kevin grew up with 6 siblings; Ric(Joy), Lisa(Dan), Sydney, Tanya, Nikki(Issac) and Teri(Tobias). Kevin was a family man and will be dearly missed by his grandchildren; Cache, Darius, Sebastian, Kyler, Ryland and Presley. Kevin was known for cheering up an entire room with his jokes, infectious smile and contagious laugh. Kevin will not hesitate to give the shirt off his back to help someone, he was always just a phone call away. Kevin enjoyed working on cars (especially if it had “Chevy” on it) and could fix almost anything. He was always willing to give his last dollar if you needed it. Kevin had many friends from all places, all walks of life and of all ages, he would befriend you before you even knew it. He had a few really close friends growing up-Tom and Mike from Salmo and Robby from the lower mainland who was like another son to him. It was Kevin’s huge heart that made him so likable to so many. We all have our fond memories to cherish, our pictures and our stories to remind us of this great guy. Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel & Crematorium has been entrusted with the arrangements, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 19 at 110 Cedar Ave., Fruitvale BC at 2 pm. Interment to follow at a later date.
