In Loving Memory ~

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Leonard Frederic Leduc (Pro) on January 16, 2024.

Dad was born and raised in Trail. He was an avid sports enthusiast, playing hockey, lacrosse, and ball in his younger days. He started working at Cominco at a young age to help his mom and family.

Dad married at a young age to Roberta Olsen (Bobby) though it was short he had two children Sherry and Rick. In August of 1962 dad met the love of his life Judith Wilson and together had 4 more children Dwayne, Darren, Sharlene and Corinne.

After a few years in Trail and Fruitvale, Pro and Judy moved to Elkford both working for Fording Coal until they retired. After they retired, they moved to Penticton to live out their retirement years and loved every bit of the lifestyle there.

Dad lived a good long life and recently celebrated his 90th birthday on October 5, 2023 where many family members, nieces and nephews and friends came to join in. Dad was so tickled and enjoyed his day immensely, this would be his last hurrah!

Dad was survived by his wife Judy of 62 years, children Sherry Halifax/Randy, Rick Leduc / Gloria, Dwayne Leduc/ Katy, Darren Leduc, Sharlene Christensen/Paul, Corrine Matthews/ Mel, 33 grand and great-grandchildren and one surviving younger sister Yvonne Cowan.
