In loving memory ~
Louise Volpatti passed away December 5th, 2022 at the age of 85. Louise was born in Trail, B.C., where she grew up and attended school. After high school graduation mom went to St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Victoria, and graduated as a registered nurse in 1958. Mom moved back to Trail to pursue her nursing career at Trail Regional Hospital. It was then that her brother Ed re-introduced our dad Bill into her life and they wed in 1961. Mom continued to nurse at Trail Regional Hospital, then Medical Associates Clinic and finally Columbia Family Medicine until her retirement in 1996.
Mom and dad moved to Montrose in 1963 with baby Teresa and Eric followed, being born, in 1966. Mom was a resident of Montrose for 55 years.
Louise will be remembered by her daughter Teresa (Eric) and son Eric (Natasha), her brother Ed (Judy), 6 grandchildren; David (Mandy), Mark (Mariah), Nina (Travis), Brianna (Braedon), Jessica (Jay), and Jake as well as 11 great-grandchildren, with the arrival of her 12th great-grandchild in January.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rita's Catholic Church on Monday, December 12th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Xaviour Mulakkampilli Chakku, CMI, Celebrant. Kole Roth of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
