LENARDUZZI, Madaline, a long-time resident of Rossland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 8, 2013 in Rossland, BC. She was born November 11, 1921 in Raymond, Alberta.

Madaline was a very caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was an active member of the Rossland C.W.L. and the Rossland bowling lanes. She enjoyed many years camping on Kootenay Lake. She so enjoyed her time there with her grandchildren sitting by the campfire and playing crib.

She is survived by her children, Donnie (Peggy), Lenore (Moe) Theriault, her grandchildren; Trevor (Lindsay), Karen (Eduardo), Colleen (Paul), Steven (Melissa), 2 great-grandchildren; Adam and Emily, her brother Cookie, her sister; Martha Hawk and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; Edward and Catherina L’Ecluse, her husband Tullio, her grandchildren; Kevin and Aaron, her brothers; Bob, Caesar, Johnny and her sisters; Bertha and Susan.

As an expression of sympathy, donations in Madaline’s name may be made to the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital and Health Foundation (Pediatric Unit) at 1200 Hospital Bench, Trail, BC V1R 4M1 or online at www.kbrhhealthfoundation.ca

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rossland with Father J. Joseph Kizhakethottathil M.S.T., Celebrant. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
