It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved father, Nonno and Bisnonno.
Molly passed away peacefully with family at his side at Hospice House in Kelowna, BC.
Molly was predeceased by his wife Marjorie in 2005.
Molly, his twin Ermes and their older sister Lilia, were born in Trail to Sireno and Volunia Pez.
He married the love of his life Marjorie Putsey in 1959. Together they shared their love for the outdoors as they raised three children in Trail and at their summer home at Christina Lake.
Molly is survived by children Lori (Ryan), Randy (Nancy) and Leanne (Wade). He was a devoted Nonno to his granddog Finnegan, grandchildren Christopher (Samantha), Jamie, Marlise (Jordan), Zachary and Jacob and Bisnonno to Jaxon, Riley, Jase, Raina, and Frankie. He is also survived by his twin brother, Ermes (Evelyn) and several nieces and nephews.
Molly and Marge were fortunate to have some great travel adventures together. Molly was an avid outdoorsman as well and enjoyed skiing, gardening, wine making, bocce, curling, community volunteering and sharing his sense of humour. His happy place was the cabin he built at Christina Lake where he shared his homemade wine, lots of laughter and so many cherished memories with his family and friends.
Molly was a design draftsman for Cominco Engineering Services Ltd. He was fortunate to have the opportunity for early retirement at a younger age enabling him to enjoy other activities.
Molly was a dedicated ski patroller at Red Mountain for almost 50 years and was a member of the Columbo Lodge, local bocce gang, and a member of the West Kootenay Game Association.
