Bortolussi, Marfisa passed away on September 30, 2018 at Columbia View Lodge in Trail. She was born on May 3, 1934 in Lucca, Italy.
Marfisa was a seamstress for many years as sewing was one of her passions. She also loved to cook and entertain and was very much a people person. She always had a smile on her face and laughter in her heart.
Marfisa was predeceased by her husband Aldo and her siblings; Luigi, Eva, Remo and Anchila. She is survived by her sons Luigi and Albert, her grandchildren; Jesse, Melisa (Brian) Cimolini, Kelli (Kory) Bortolussi, Daine and Debra as well as great-grandson Ezekiel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Fruitvale with Father Nino Tuyo, Celebrant. A reception will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the Beaver Valley Curling Club. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Service has been entrusted with arrangements.
