Margaret Annie Wilson (nee Kovalcik)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Marg Wilson on June 30, 2019.
Mom was born in Princeton and moved to Fruitvale to teach school. It was there that she met our dad. Throughout her life mom volunteered at the Thrift Shop, curled, golfed and travelled. Mom loved to cook and would always have family gatherings at the house that we grew up in on Green Road.
Mom, Gramma, Maggie will be missed by her son Ron (Donna) and daughter Susan (Curtis), grandsons Christopher (Tina and family) and Todd (Madyson); granddaughters Nicole Toews (Brent and family), Jennifer Witsel, Melissa (Jim), sister in law Ruth Shorting and her nieces and nephews.
Mom was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was predeceased by her husband Murray in 1995.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Fruitvale Memorial Cemetery on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 1 pm. Happy Hour will follow at the Champion Lakes Golf Course at 2 pm. Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
