Born October 30, 1918 in Nanaimo, BC. Passed away on March 31, 2012 at Poplar Ridge in Trail. Bunty was predeceased by her husband Donald of 59 years and their daughter Karen. She will be sadly missed by her children Gary and Sheena, son-in-law Tom, grandchildren Jana (Cam), Tannis (Bryan), great-grandchild Emma and Bunty's sister Jeanie. Many supportive friends and relatives, especially Marlise, will miss Bunty's warm smile and giving heart.
Bunty was a devout Christian Scientist and a longtime member of the Eastern Star. The family would like to thank Dr. Scully, the staff of Poplar Ridge and Mountainside in Fruitvale for their care of Bunty.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 11:00 in Carberry's Chapel at 1298 Pine Avenue, Trail with Reverend Ken Siemens, celebrant. Jordan Wren of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
