Bedwellobitpic

It is with great sadness we announce the death of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Marguerite Bedwell on December 18, 2012. She was born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan on June 23, 1923.

Predeceased by her sister Joy and her husband George (1997). Survived by her children, Blair (Liz), Peter (Vibeke), Chris (Eileen), and Ann (Alex), seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mom spent her early years in England where she met Dad and married during the war. They came to Canada after the war and after a short stay in Vancouver, moved to Beach Grove in 1949. Over the years Mom was involved in many charities. She was also District Cub Master in the 60s and 70s. Always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Mom struggled with dementia for the past decade and has spent the last few years living with family in Fruitvale, BC.

She was such a kind and beautiful soul. We will miss her dearly.

A celebration of life will be held Dec. 29, 2012 at the Victory Church in Salmo, BC.

A special thank you to the staff at CVL and the special care unit for their care and thoughtfulness of Marguerite & family.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the KBRH Foundation.
