MACASSO, Maria - It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Maria Macasso. She was born on October 23, 1933 in San Lorenzo di Sedegliano Italy and moved to Canada in 1956 to marry Gino Macasso.
Maria was a faith filled woman who lived a quiet life in joyful service to others.
She will be lovingly remembered by Gino, her husband of 54 years.
She will also be remembered by her son John (Isabelle) and grandchildren Jessica, Amanda, Jason and Adam; her son Paul (Corinne) and grandchildren Jaqueline, Erica, Marissa and Max; her son Angelo (Christine) and grandchildren Maria, Christian, Jarred, Julia and Michael; her daughter Adriana (Greg) and grandchildren Geno, Laura, Madison and Owen; her brothers Frank and Eugene Piasentin, her sister Antonietta Rinaldi of Canada and 5 brothers and sisters in Italy.

A prayer service was held on Monday, May 23rd, 2011 at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish.
The funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, May 24th at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish.
