Marie passed away peacefully on October 31, 2014 after a long battle with leukemia, at Columbia View Lodge. Marie was born March 1, 1935 in North Athabasca, Quebec.
She is survived by her children: Laura Lee Schultz, Colleen (Mark) Saplywy, Randy, Sherry, Jason (Debbie) and Terrance (Shannon), 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Rita (Ron) Spain and Yvette Galigan and brother Leo (Lorraine) Boilard. Predeceased by her husband Raymond in 2009, son Rodney Joseph and numerous brothers and sisters.
Donations may be made in Marie’s name to Canadian Cancer Society, 908 Rossland Ave. Trail, V1R 3N6.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from the Trail Royal Canadian Legion hall at 2:00pm with Father Bart van Roijen, Celebrant.
