SKINNER: Marion (NEE Wyatt) of Trail passed away peacefully on July 29, 2011 at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. Marion was born on October 2, 1930 in Trail, BC and lived there her entire life.
She worked for Cominco for 32 years, retiring in 1985. Marion enjoyed her retirement at the lake, spending time at Clive’s, and was also a faithful Trail Smokeaters fan.
Marion is survived by her son, Kent, grandchildren; Ryan (Nancy) and Robyn (Ian Racey), numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Alice, loving husband Gene (2008), and brothers Bill, Tom and Chuck.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Marion’s memory to the Gateway Christian Life Center, 8320 Highway 3B, Trail, BC V1R 2T3.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Gateway Christian Life Center with Pastor Shane McIntyre officiating. Burial is to follow at the Columbia View Cemetery. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
