It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Elaine Csordas on September 2, 2023, after a brief illness.
Mary was predeceased by her mother; father; her sister, Joan; and her brother, Michael.
She was born in New Westminster, BC, to parents Harold and Elaine Shannon. She grew up in Rossland and moved to Victoria in her 20's to pursue a career in nursing.
She met the love of her life, Ferenc "Frank" Csordas there and they were married in 1971, spending 52 happy years together.
A Funeral Mass for Mary will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 849 Old Esquimalt Road, Victoria, BC, on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 12:10 pm with reception to follow.
